System Upgrade and Sign-In Issue (fixed)

A few days ago we upgraded our system for faster email delivery and larger capacity. During the process, however, the system had a glitch, which might have caused dozen of our users some sign-in problem. Although it was immediately fixed, we still asked all our users to sign in again for safety purposes. You need to do this only once, and everything should be the same as usual, except now you will be receiving your price alert emails earlier every day.
We’ve also fixed an Internet Explorer 8 problem, which could show an error message when you use the “Save to My Shopping Notes” button. No actions are needed on your part. In addition, we’ve released the “Save to My Shopping Notes” button for Chrome and Safari as well. Give it a try!
Valentine’s Day is just around the corner. So go set some price alerts for your significant other. He or she may appreciate those price drop notifications!

Are Fur Boots a Good Idea?

Last year I complained about animal fur being used everywhere. This year I’m even more appalled when I see boots covered with fur.
First of all, no matter where the fur came from, it’s just plain ugly to have strands of hair hanging on the side of a shoe. Not sure what the designers were thinking when they came up with the idea, maybe it’s “lots of women want to look like they’ve just escaped from the zoo”??
Secondly, if fur is the only option, can they at least dye it to a more pleasant color so it doesn’t give me the creeps? (Hey, I’m talking about the Alexander Wang Polina Fur Ankle Boot and the Opening Ceremony Faux Fur Boot) If I wake up in the mid of the night and see these things lying around in a corner, I’ll RUN!
Girls, if you have to have one of these, please, try the less scary versions from Louboutin and Blahnik. Although you may still risk being sent back to the zoo, at least you’ll be recognized as an animal with more sophisticated taste
