If you love west-coast living,  you’ll love James Perse,  The high-quality casual wear designed by James are just like the Californian lifestyle, clean, comfortable and effortlessly chic.

The designer was born in Los Angeles in 1972.  Like the other boys, he spent his childhood between the beaches and the hockey ring.  His father owned a fashion boutique in LA, it was there James “accidentally” began his career.  His first design was a baseball cap since he couldn’t find one that really fits.  Before he knew it, movie directors were rushing in to buy the cap for their entire crew!

Today the James Perse brand consists of collections for Men, Women as well as Baby.

I love the basic tees in white and grey, as simple as they’re, they make me feel I’m lying on the southern California beach on a beautiful day. If you can’t live in California, at least you can dress like a Californian

I love to look at stuff on Ebay - you never know what you’ll find there. Vintage dress from the 18th century, heels worn by Marilyn Monroe, a pair of gloves signed by Grace Kelly, two hundred chairs used at a wedding ……

This week my findings are Christian Louboutin Glitter Pigalle and Glitter Numero Prive. These glitter heels are long gone from the retail stores. The Glitter Pigalle is in size 36, my guess is this will fit a 35.5 as well as a 36 since Louboutin shoes typically run small (Christian Louboutin Shoe Sizing). The seller Mushroom_City originally bought the pair for herself but never had the chance to wear it.  Mushroom is one of the greatest gals on Ebay, check out her store if you have some time, it’s full of cute Marni items!

The Glitter Numero Prive is available in sizes 35.5, 37 and 38 by seller Naturalgasgirl.  She sells the best-looking shoes on Ebay (although her prices are pretty steep).   You can also find Carrie’s stolen shoe from “Sex and the City” in almost all sizes.

Crocs were orginally intended as a boating/outdoor shoe, but it became so popular that some places even started putting it in their dress codes. Certain hospitals don’t allow their staff wearing Crocs due to the concern that the shoes may build up static electricity and interfere with electronic equipment.

In the fashion world, some love Crocs and some say they’re hideous. Personally I think they look adorable on kids. To think of it, this would make a unique gift for a baby shower or a toddler birthday (more interesting than blankets??).
